HICDB facilitates networks and strengthens collaboration between Hellenic and international artists, cultural institutions and the creative sectors. With our partners (other European or international cultural institutes, educational institutions, governmental bodies and individual artists) we create experiences, events, educational webinars, short and long-term projects deep-rooted in the understanding of the specific cultural and political landscape we operate in. With our activities, we strive to create long-lasting connections and networks.
LET'S TALK ACTIONS
We develop and deliver activities that aim to serve and advance Hellenic culture and promote its Cultural Products (Heritage, Arts, Cultural Industries etc); to raise awareness regarding the role of cultural diplomacy; to educate and support the professional development of individuals within the cultural diplomacy discipline; to highlight the EU funding opportunities to the Hellenic culture creators and professionals; to create synergies between Hellenic, Belgian and international cultural creators and operators; to conceive and initiate conferences, seminars, public discussions, publications, exhibitions and research related to the Institute’s aims.
We envision contributing to the image and redefinition of the contemporary Hellenic culture; liaising Hellenic cultural diplomacy between the Ministry, the Institute and a wider pan-European audience; connecting professionals and bridging the triptych ‘Global-Local-Glocal’, which definitely fits to the context of City of Brussels at first let alone Belgium.
INTERNSHIP
The Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy in Belgium offers internships to students or researchers who are interested in developing their academic and professional skills in the field of Cultural Diplomacy.

Erasmus + provides support for internships (placement in jobs, apprenticeships, etc.) at the branches of the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy for students enrolled in higher education institutions of countries in the program, at undergraduate or graduate level, as well as for PhD candidates.
