The Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy (HICD) was founded in Athens in 2017, and is the first and only proponent of research, study and promotion of Cultural Diplomacy in Greece. The Institute works in cooperation with private and public governmental bodies, with academic and scientific organisations both at home and around the world.
The Institute has branches in different countries; each branch is responsible for the development and delivery of a range of cultural activities depending on the overall needs and liaises with the Athens headquarters.
Currently the HICD has institutes in twelve countries:
Italy: Ancona & Sicily
The Netherlands: Rotterdam
United Kingdom: London & Cardiff
Africa: Egypt & Tunisia
